The quintessence of the educational leadership strategy consists in the inclusion of the teacher in complex programs focused on systems of relevant and functional methodological principles for the professional development of the teacher and the efficiency of the learning communities at institution and system level. The activity of professional development of teachers in educational leadership is carried out successfully only if deliberate actions of promotion and support are provided. Educational leadership is a specific way of promoting teachers and management, which approaches the teacher as a person who builds visions and strengthens professional knowledge. The continuous development activity does not only aim at measuring the effects of practices but also at leading and administering a process in which all those involved – teachers, students, parents, school as a whole – learn to constantly improve their practice and to live a satisfaction/ well-being for each actor of the educational process. |
