Rezumat

When we talk about the communication competence we can distinguish two prospects: the behavior and the cognition. Another prospect that is thought to be the third, identified by the authors as an alternative prospect is the one given by the ecological model: according to it, the communication competence is a result of the dynamic interaction between the society and the development of the person / group / organization; the development of the communication competence is influenced and in its turn influences, the society in every process that is produced. Forming communicative competences as part of the reading of a text in a foreign language supposes an activity whose purpose is the semantic representation of the given information. The reading of a text is influenced by three factors: the reader, the text and the context, the teacher having the obligation of interacting these factors.
