In this article are researched some historiographical elaborations and theoretical
and methodological landmarks of investigation reconfiguration processes of great
power geopolitical interests addressed in the context of building structure cold
postwar international system, given that international relations continue to be
marked by horizontal relations between major actors.
The dynamic of resizing geopolitical interests of the great powers are in the process
of reconfiguration, and the relative systemic stability was stirred up by armed
conflict of Ukraine. After the Cold War was formed gradually uni-multipolar
structure of the international system, which was corrected at the beginning of
XXI century towards multipolarity or, in other words, that better reflect the new
realities, to polycentrism, meeting three major centers of power. At the same time,
the great powers seek further the expansion and achieve both geopolitical interests
at the expense of other major players, and in the area of small and medium invoice
agents. The fact is that the level of systemic stability and instability depends
on the recovery of geopolitical interests that marks relations between the great
powers, but having impact on other categories of actors, especially on states of
discussed segments. The core problem is that the Russian Federation questioning
the accepted configurations of world order, model that I highlighted in the text,
and the events of Ukraine served as a pretext for announcing the new options. The
pattern of world order is characterized by relative stability and acceptable level of
cooperation between the major players and their geopolitical interests focused in
Eurasia, which remained a geopolitical field, although the global economic center
is emerging more and more in the Asian-Pacific region. |
