Rezumat

In the last period, the concern for innovation, the organization in the form of clusters, competitiveness, economic efficiency, etc. Co-operative enterprises of larger or smaller economic-financial dimensions have a role in the economic and social life of the country, being in important positions in the localities in the rural area. However, over the last few years they generate losses. Starting from these premises, the knowledge of the co-operative field, the interpretation of the phenomena underlying the activities in this sector and the distinction of optimum solutions required extensive scientific knowledge and analysis. The paper bases the concept of "clusters", identifies and highlights their contributions to the economic competitiveness of cooperative enterprises.
