Rezumat

At the present time the professional development, being a process and not an event, advertises new areas of professional development: from initial training in a field - retraining - improving specialist craftsmanship to continuous training. The lifelong learning has become a principle of organizing all forms of education, a framework to ensure the right to education for everyone and a property of education systems at a global level. Life is a continuous learning and all people must have access to lifelong learning opportunities. Adult education involves formal, non-formal and informal learning to develop basic skills, acquire new qualifications, improvement or professional reconversion, for personal development or just for pleasure.  Professional development represents an effort directed towards the reconciliation and harmonization of the various aspects of adult education, so that each teacher does not oppose himself, but ensures the trainee's leap from the status of the object of education to the new pedagogical state of the subject of education, capable of self-education achieved through the ability of the trainee of efficient self-learning, successful self-training, self-development etc.
