Nina Josu’s poetry, marked by the spirit of the age, has a slow evolution from a teenage romanticism with „nostalgia for paradise lost” to a style of neoclassical clarity, from an ethical pathos to poetry that glorifies God, to poetry that is militant and suffering from the burden of conscience issues, poetry that is sick from too much soul. It does not astound, it’s with the many in its struggle for language, alphabet, independence. Patriotic feeling surpasses any aesthetic requirements.
