Orality is one the most exploited sections by the publicists due to its bold expression and multiple functions and meanings. As an expression of the revival in the media language, the insertion of different lexical elements, which are specific for the orality, disclose an infinite source of values, functions and semantic subtleties, presenting an interest of high importance for the research. Concerning the oral lexicon, preferred by the authors of journalistic texts, we can easily detect all the manifestations of this section: starting with the substandard vocabulary and ending with the “fashionable” verbal elements, or “elitist” recently borrowed words, which cannot be found in the dictionaries yet. The multiple stylistic and pragmatic virtues of the different types of oral vocabulary’s elements confer dynamism to the text, ludic, comic, parodist, and burlesque nuances, revealing, therefore, the tight and continuous connection with the popular spirit. And this
fact keeps the nation’s vigilance always awake. |
