The valorization of the contemporary Romanian philosophy in the Republic of Moldova comprises several stages. The first stage, of capitalizing on the traditions of Romanian philosophy in the Republic of Moldova since the early 1990s, was manifested by establishing contacts with Romanian philosophers, organizing conferences and reciprocal exchange of study visits. The second stage of research comprises the second half of the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century. There are elaborated doctoral theses and monographs devoted to the history of Romanian philosophy. The third stage comprisesthe second decade of the 21st century and is characterized by changing the attitude towards the problem of national identity, by recognizing the philosophical thinking in Bessarabia as part of the Romanian philosophy.
