Vasile Ţepordei was an inclement critic who stigmatized misery, corruption, ignorance, deceit and cowardice appropriate to the Bessarabian society of the '30s using a sententious style. Because of that his works often stirred criticism from other critics and even from some government officials. His famous series of articles in which the author fiercely criticized the freemasonry could serve as a convincing testimony: When will the abuse stop?; Calvinism, Politics, Freemasonry; Freemasonry has been abolished, etc. It is also significant, that in his works he always condemned the negative moments of clergy’s life. Getting acquainted with V. Ţepordei’s works, we understand that they remain an unknown area, open to differentiated interpretation and appreciation. As to the whole representation of his life and creations, it could be expressed as follows ≪Maximum simplicity and intellect≫.
