The author has directed his efforts to classify the main global environmental problems of the present, the most significant predictions of the development of the natural environment. The contradiction between the opportunities that arose from the natural environment and vast possibilities for the development of production had a critical situation. As a result, there are technical premises for creating new conditions for a mutually beneficial relationship between man and nature. An important feature of the scientific and technological revolution is that for the first time in the interaction between society and nature, mediation has reached the limit of natural factors of production and thus opened new possibilities for the further development of society as a process controlled and consciously regulated. The economic and ecological approaches to assessing the results of human activities on the planet are directly opposite: economists assess results through production and consumption growth, and environmentalists - through damage to human nature and he+alth. At the same time, for an adequate assessment of the degree of human impact on nature, combined environmental and economic indicators should be used. The economic development of terrestrial civilization is associated with the accelerated increase in the planet’s natural resource consumption as a result of the depletion of non-renewable natural raw material stocks and the deterioration of the state of the environment as a result of intensive nature management and its environmental impact. |
