The interaction of the population - development is important, first of all, from the point of view of the demographic factor. The growing population, as a result of effective demographic policy, exerts increasing pressure on all systems and structures in society: economic, educational, environmental, sanitary, etc. Demographic growth leads to increased production and, at the same time, to demographic investments that will recover faster or slower, depending on the future level of productivity factors, especially labor productivity. In turn, economic development has a multiple impact on demographic processes. Recently, it should be noted that from an exogenous variable the population becomes an endogenous variable. By offering jobs, the working-age population is used, and the main demographic phenomena (fertility, mortality, migration, etc.) depend on the growth of production and productivity. |
