Early diagnostics of the ovarian cancer still remains to be a challenge for the modern medicine. The diagnostics’ evaluation is a continuous ongoing worldwide problem with a multidisciplinary approach: gynecological, oncological, immunological, histopathological, imagistical, as it is structured in international scientific events for the specialty. Currently, we consider that the most effective screening method for ovarian tumors is the combination of recto-vaginal bimanual examination, transvaginal ultrasonography and determination of specific oncomarkers. |
