The author comes with the message that the managerial decisions taken in the various organizations are well-defined by the selected decision-making criteria. It states that as decision-making problems are more complex, the use of aggregate criteria becomes more necessary. Of the multitude of existing classifications for decision-making criteria was taken as representative the one that divides them into deterministic and non-deterministic criteria. In author’s opinion, deterministic criteria are applicable to systems in which prevails the technical and technological parts of the economic processes. Non-deterministic criteria are applicable under conditions of risk and, respectively, under the uncertainty conditions.
