Rezumat

The article analyzes the ethical conceptions of Antiochus Cantemir, mentioning that the thinker and the poet praised the virtue and devotion to the public good in the spirit of humanism and Enlightenment, has promoted the idea of equality of people regardless of social position, stressed the importance of education and knowledge
