La notion d'identité nécessite une interférence de deux domaines de recherche dans le but de définir l'individu. Une définition qui, en réalité, est profilée par la corrélation entre le sociologique et le psychologique. La reconnaissance d’une appartenance se complique par le phénomène de différenciation sociale et celui de singularisation individuellle. La construction d’une identité suit toujours une dynamique oppositive constante entre l’individuel et le collectif. Notre étude se prétend importante dans la sémiotique de l'identité interculturelle, mettant à l’épreuve l'importance des appartenances sociales dans la définition de l’individu mais aussi de celles individuelles. Ainsi, l’identité interculturelle se profile comme une étape transcendant cette opposition, une phase de l’évolution postérieure de l’homme et de l’humanité.

The concept of identity calls for interference of two spheres of research in trying to define the individual. Its definition is in reality based on the correlation between the sociological and psychological fields. The recognition of a membership is complicated by the phenomenon of social differentiation and of individual singling. The construction of identity always follows a constant oppositional dynamics between the individual and the collective. Our study claims to be important in semiotics of intercultural identity, putting to the test the importance of social ties in the definition of the individual but also those of individuals. Thus, intercultural identity is emerging as a step transcending this opposition, a later phase of the evolution of man and mankind.
