Rezumat

In the review to “The Oleanders Cry Out to Me in Pink” by Maria Şleahtiţchi the author approached to the poems not only in terms of their aesthetic messages, but also in terms of their concepts. “The other poetry”, a phrase from the title, announces another interpretation of the text and of its author, insisting on the idea that it is possible and necessary to review the androcentric poetic canon. Thus, Maria Sleahtitchi “produces” feminine poetry which is inspired by the existence and way of thinking of the hand that writes. Everything in this book is done in a dialogical style; the Other, the man is a complementary component and an idea of lacking opposing elements. A poetic discovery consists in the philosophy of the household and of a domestic world of things. The intertextual connections with the great literature “betray” the theorist behind the poet. Thus, Maria Sleahtitchi, the poet and the professor of literature, inhabits the same space – literature, but in a fractal way.
