Dans un monde de conflits interéthniques et traversé par la crise d'identité, le défi de la diversité ethnoculturelle reste sans précédent dans les États d'Europe du Sud-Est, et la gestion efficace de ses conséquences nécessite la structuration de la vie culturelle afin de refléter adéquatement la diversité. À partir de la reconnaissance de la diversité, des discours multiculturels et la mondialisation postmoderne tendent aujourd'hui à être substitué par le type de formation interculturelle et transculturelle, visant à valoriser également pour préserver et développer les identités spécifiques et la communication interculturelle. La décantation du point de vue lucide peut tester pour chacun d'eux l'obsession du multiculturalisme/interculturalisme comme un compromis qui pourrait éviter les frustrations de l'identité, et le désir de généraliser à la société mondiale la complexité culturelle spécifique correspond à l'ouverture d'une nouvelle et dangereuse réification des visions utopiques. La pluralité fondée sur des principes, au niveau textuel, n'a jamais voulu être une multiplicité, mais une nouvelle écriture qui parle en même temps beaucoup de langues et articule plusieurs textes en même temps.

In a world traversed by the identity crisis and ethnic conflicts, the provocation at the etnocultural diversity today remains unprecedented in the States of South-East Europe, but efficient management of its consequences requires to organize cultural life so as to reflect properly the diversity. Starting from the recognition of diversity, multicultural and globalisation postmoderniste discourses tend to be substituted by the intercultural and transcultural type, directing to the valuation of both the preserving and the developing of the specific identities and intercultural communication. The prospective lucid decantation can distinguish in each of them the understanding obsession of multiculturalism and the interculturalism as a compromise that would avoid the frustrations of identity and the desire of generalization for global society of specific cultural complexity that would correspond to the start of a new and dangerous utopian visions. If at the beginning the plurality of worlds and identities was the consequent, at the literary level, at the defiant attitude of postmodernism towards any system claiming that holds the absolute truth, currently the meeting and interaction between cultures is conceived in declared dynamic and relational terms. Such a principled plurality, at the textual level, has not wanted to be a superficial multiplicity, but a new writing than can speak at the same time more languages and to articulate together several texts.
