In contemporary educational discourse, there is a growing recognition of the importance of fostering student autonomy. Empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey not only enhances academic outcomes but also cultivates critical life skills such as self-regulation, decision-making, and resilience. This article explores strategies to increase student autonomy both within the confines of the classroom and beyond, acknowledging the significance of autonomy in nurturing well-rounded, self-directed learners.
