The importance of the mother tongue for the process of building the spirit of identity is unanimously recognized by specialists. In the Republic of Moldova, the historical context and decisions regarding the official language have altered the fundamental right to identity of the Romanians across the Prut. The recent political decision restored the rights of the Romanian mother tongue and opened the perspective of the integration of this country into the community. |
