The article analyzes the "Food Security Strategy of the Republic of Moldova for 2023-2030" from the perspective of ensuring the physical and economic accessibility of food. It is shown that the Strategy does not solve many aspects of the food supply of the population with its own products, does not solve the problem of raising the standard of living of the population, and the increasing level of poverty and a significant decrease in production, primarily livestock products, does not ensure the most important right of the population – the right to decent food. It is proposed to revise some provisions of the Strategy in order to provide the population with nutrition in the amounts necessary for an active healthy life.
