Female migration is an expanding but largely silent revolution. That is why it is not surprising that the profile of a migrant woman is that of the passive, backward, submissive, dependent woman and only bound to the traditions of her country of origin. And even if the invisible and passive migrant woman became an active protagonist of social and economic life and her role changed over time, her invisibility remained partially. A triple invisibility: as a woman, as a migrant and as a segregated person. The work highlights the integration process of Moldovan immigrant women in Italy, through the transition of the migratory stages and the phenomena associated with them, and emphasizes the issues related to migration, emerging from the women's accounts.

Migrația feminină reprezintă o revoluție în expansiune, dar în mare măsură tăcută. De aceea nu este de mirare, ca profilul unei femei migrante să fie cel al femeii pasive, înapoiate, supuse, dependente și legată doar de tradițiile țării sale de origine. Și chiar dacă femeia migrantă invizibilă și pasivă a devenit o protagonistă activă a vieții sociale și economice și rolul ei s-a schimbat în timp, invizibilitatea ei a rămas parțial. O triplă invizibilitate: ca femeie, ca migrantă și ca segregată. Lucrarea scoate în evidență parcursul de integrare al femeilor moldovence imigrante în Italia, prin tranziția etapelor migratorii și fenomenele asociate acestora, punând accent pe problematicile corelate migrației, reieșite din relatările femeilor.
