The experience of Ukraine in the use of ESP accreditation as an innovative tool to ensure the quality of 081 Law specialty training is analyzed. The author investigates accreditation as an "innovative" procedure in the sphere of higher education, its "subjective cut", its subject matter in the criterial evaluation, "basic" characteristics determining its uniqueness, substantiates the expediency of its use as a "quality filter" for postgraduate education. The methodological basis - general scientific and special methods of research. Dialectical method characterized it in dynamics, and to reveal the essence, uniqueness, originality of its subject, system of subjects allowed comparative-legal, special-legal, logical, systematic methods. It is established that the ESP accreditation is an innovative, unique "quality filter", due to: 1) innovations in the formation of the subject composition (representation of all ESP subjects, at all stages; simplicity, transparency, professionalism, competition in their selection; model of "checks and balances"); 2) activity of the ESP subject at all stages of the procedure; 3) "internal-external" orientation of the procedure (selfevaluation, criterial external evaluation, trust and "in-depth expectation" of help); 4) "criteriality" of ESA quality evaluation; 5) voluntariness, initiative of the ESA subject to start the procedure; 6) efficiency, publicity, maximum transparency, publicity, accessibility, informatization.
