In the article, author briefly presented the issues regarding the training and professional development of intelligence officers within the specialized state education institutions. Since the end of the Cold War, the staff training process for intelligence services has evolved from briefing courses in short-term information from specialized institutions to the institutionalization of intelligence studies by the including them into academic institutions or universities. In recent years, the curricula have been adapted in response to the growing need of intelligence services in specialists able to promote the national security objectives in an domestic and international environment, characterized by a complex dynamics. |
