Rezumat

A distinctive feature of the contemporary society with democratic values, is such an organization of its state apparatus, which allows to ensure, in the conditions of any changes of the political situation, the normal and continuous functioning of the entire state mission. The foundation of this organization is the well-organized public service. The public service, going through multiple reform processes, must adapt to a series of changes that occur in the short term. Civil servants are facing the new requirements of civil society, the private sector, changes in the regulatory framework, and requirements for the modernization of public services. Throughout this process, the probability of reducing the performance of officials increases. For this reason, both for the benefit of the organization and for the own benefit of the employees, its management must work permanently and in any way possible to increase the potential of its employees. It is proven that employee motivation has a direct influence on their performance. Thus, staff motivation is one of the key challenges of leaders / managers at all levels.
