Rezumat | ||||||
The OSCE occupies a special place in the system of international organisations. The main mission of the organization is to develop effective models of conflict resolution between states. The OSCE includes 57 participating countries from Europe, Asia and North America, including the Republic of Moldova. The status of the mission was established by the Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Moldova and the Authorities of Transnistria, the OSCE mission being invested to carry out three major tasks – peace-making, peacekeeping and peacebuilding. At the moment 15 OSCE operations are in place. |
