Rezumat

The professional competence of the educator represents the set of cognitive, affective, motivational abilities, which together with the personality traits offer him the necessary qualities to carry out a didactic activity that fulfills the proposed objectives and has very good results. Competences for the teaching profession are designed systemically, integrated with the general competences for the efficient fulfillment of a social role and the competences for the teaching profession in general. The way in which the future teachers have mastered the theoretical and practical notions necessary to carry out the activity at the department and how prepared they feel to face the demands of the teaching profession.
