Rezumat

In the conditions of modern production of poultry products one of the most important elements of technology that has a significant impact on its growth, development and productivity is lighting. In industrial conditions, more and more attention is paid to lighting programs, lighting conditions at different periods of growing and keeping birds. When growing and keeping poultry, up to 50% of consumed electricity is consumed for lighting. Lighting plays an important role and allows you to control the processes of physiological development of the bird, provide more comfortable conditions for its maintenance and achieve significant growth all indicators of herd productivity. It was found, that the increase in the number of lit hours per day, provides for eating more food and greater bird mobility, causes an increase in metabolism. In addition, light enhances processes blood formation and increases the bactericidal properties of blood, influences the circulatory and nervous systems, and also influences on oxidative enzymes, activating their catalytic effect. Light belongs to the main factors of bird life support and has a significant effect on growth, development, productive and reproductive indicators of poultry. Moreover, both the light spectrum and the illumination and the duration of daylight are of importance. It was found that additional lighting (daylight hours 16 hours) increases egg production by 37% and increased digestibility of feed. Digestibility of crude protein increases by 2,3%, crude fiber - by 7,3%, crude fat - by 2,5%, nitrogen-free substances - by 2,6% and calcium - by 6,4%. Studies have shown that the duration of periods of light and darkness is one of the main factors, which influences development processes, morphofunctional status, reproductive phases and bird behavior. As daylight hours increase, the corresponding hormones stimulate the acceleration of puberty and the onset of oviposition in birds. When daylight hours decrease, these hormones stimulate the slowdown of puberty of the bird and the termination of egg laying. Thus, illumination and changing the duration of lighting in time can be considered as synchronizing factors light stimulation in rearing laying hens - achievement by a herd of puberty (50% oviposition) at an optimum age.
