In the present paper, the authors try to fortify research on the attributes of the manager as predisposed to leadership. The research is based on highlighting all the hereditary and cultivated qualities throughout the professional career. There is highlighted the character of the manager alongside the method chosen for leadership, which is an essential factor in achieving a truly efficient leadership in the contemporary market conditions. In order to be able to judge the manager’s performance and its contribution to improving the organization’s performance, we need to know what its real power and influence is in the organization. During carrying out the research, the authors used such methods as analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, graphic modeling, table, reasoning, classification and observation. As a result of the research it was found that one of the essential elements of the efficient management process is the identification of personal leadership style. Each manager in order to improve the organizational process needs to identify the Pyramid of effective leadership styles proposed by the authors, and then take steps to apply appropriate methods and streamline decisions. Respecting the styles’ priorities will help to increase teamwork efficiency, will discipline subordinates and gain collective respect for managers at all levels. Only in these circumstances the management group, the team and the company as a wholewill benefit. |
