Right from the beginning of its history, the Japca monastery was connected with a number of personalities who have made a substantial contribution to the development of the monastic complex. In the 19th century the monastery has consolidated its financial situation, the real estate and has raised most of its buildings chiefly thanks to a good management of some abbots, founders and donors, but also all its believers. |
