This paper approaches the problems related to the correctness of some individual persons’ names or of some geographical denominations. We are studying the actual status of this domain and the causes which have negatively influed upon local onomastic’ system. We are presenting the duties to be assumed and the actions which should be taken in order to provide to the national onomastic’ system both a rightful regulation and an effective protection.

L’article traite les problèmes de correctitude de certains noms propres de personne et géographiques. On analyse l’état actuel dans le domaine et les causes qui ont influé de manière négative sur le système onymique local. On expose les devoirs et les actions qui doivent être entreprises en vue de la réglementation et de la protection du fonds onomastique national.
