Rezumat

The types and models of reading, but also their explanation cannot be achieved without proceeding to a complete analysis of the itinerary: text - reader - reading. When talking about reading and its varieties, it is undoubtedly necessary to establish the natural relationship between the process interpreted by the reader and the typology in which the text itself fits, because each type of text determines the updating of a certain reading pattern by the real reader (the critic, the expert or the uninitiated reader). In the Romanian scientific context, Paul Cornea dealt with the courts that circumscribe and determine the way of reading: the text, the codes, the reader, the context, but also the reading as process and purpose. In the paper "Introduction to reading theory" (1988), the theoretician starts from the typology and evaluation of the reading object - the text, thus distinguishing three basic types (referential texts, self-referential texts and pseudo / trans-referential texts). Subsequently, the theoretic discourse moves on to analyzing the types of readers, especially the literary competence of the real reader, which explains why each reading is personal and individual. Finally, the characteristics, types and stages of the reading are determined. The theory of reading, which questionings the proper understanding of the text, will always remain in the spotlight of the scientific communities, since literature permanently undermines its convictions and readers influenced by their social and historical context constantly seek answers to new questions, therefore the concept of reading as a process applied is in a continuous crystallization which requires new theoretical implications.
