This article aims to analyze data to identify that factors that can affect a good/poor parent`s adaptation to a severe disability of their child by studying articles that are addressed to parental stres in families with an dizability child. The main results indicate that family adapts to parental support, followed by social cohesion and adaptability [11]. It is concluded that parental support is the most important factor in adapting the family to the deciciency of a child. These data confirm the usefulness of multifactorial approaches and may be the support of parental intervention programsat different levels. |
