This article is devoted to the problem of text emphasis with the help of grammar structures. Language is a means of forming and storing ideas as reflections of reality and exchanging them in the process of human intercourse. Language incorporates the three constituent parts each being inherent in it by virtue of its social nature. These parts are the phonological system, the lexical system, the grammatical system. All these parts of a language take part in the organization of the text and all of them have different ways in making text emphatic. The article analyses the use of parallel structures and repetition. The author comes to the conclusion that parallel structures and repetition have the same weight in making text emphatic and they may be called balanced structures.
