In vegetative laboratory experiments, it was found that soybean plants have a high potential for nanophytoremediation of lands polluted with low density polyethylene. The treatment of polyethylene with various magnetite-based nanocomposites and introduced into the polluted soil (including plastic) collected from the Slobozia-Dușca landfill had no toxic effects on the growth and development of soybean plants. It was established that the formation of endosymbiosis with rhizobia was impossible without prior bacteriization of the seeds, which meant that the investigated soil was absolutely toxic to autochthonous rhizobia |
