This article aims to answer some questions such as: what is the counseling and guidance of students in school discipline Personal development, what is the purpose of counseling, what are the types and principles of counseling, what skills should have a teacher-counselor and what methods to use in achieving the intended purpose? We argue that the main task of the teacher-counselor is to help students go through the steps of an awareness, clarification, evaluation and updating of the personal value system. The success of counseling is ensured by the active and responsible involvement of both parties based on mutual respect and trust.
