The development of international trade plays an important role in ensuring the integration of the Republic of Moldova in the European trade circuit. In the present research, the aspects of the commercial integration of the Republic of Moldova in the European space were analyzed, based on the analysis of the foreign trade evolution with the member countries of the European Union. In this context, the structure of exports by main countries of destination of goods and the structure of imports by main countries of origin of goods were studied, the evolution of imports and exports by groups of goods was analyzed and it was found out that the geographical redirection of foreign trade has become a strategic necessity for our country, the sales market of the European Union, due to its high degree of development, is one of the most attractive markets for Moldova.
