Under the geopolitical matrix: Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, the Moldovan state must focus its efforts not on the Eastern vector, as some politicians in Chisinau would like, but on the Western vector, amplifying the processes of cooperation and integration into the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Obviously, NATO membership is not a sine-qua-non condition for European integration, but in the case of the Republic of Moldova, as in the case of Ukraine, this relationship with NATO is vital and must be deepened and finalized within the structures of NATO. |
