The paper reflects the results of the study of early maize hybrids sown after the harvest of cereal crops, like winter wheat, barley and pea. In testing area, in 2013, those hybrids formed a grain production from 3,79 t/ha to 4.88 t/ha in the first sowing date and from 3,24 to 4,58 t/ha in the second term with grain moisture at harvest of 33,6 – 39,0% in the first term and 35,1 – 39,8% respectively in the second sowing period. It is recommended to be grown hybrids destined for grain production: Rosmold159CRf and Bemo182CRf, sown until July 5th; Bemo172CRf, Porumbeni176MRf, Rosmold202MRf, sown until July 1`st. The Bemo235 and Porumbeni220 hybrids can be grown just for silage, in case if it was sown as stubble crop. |
