In this article scientific visions of Constantin Stere in regard to the definition and classification of rights and liberties of humans are analyzed. It is mentioned that in his definition of human rights, the scholar puts the accent on the importantce of rights and liberties of a human so that a human personality may develeop freely. A miriad of contemporary definitions are brought to light, which all confirm the actuality of the conclusion of the constitutionalist in regard to the fact that the guarantee of rights and liberties of humans is a indispensable condition of social progress. Special importance of this respective conclusion in a transitive society is argumentated. Classification of rights and liberties of humans in respect to material and spiritual interests is brought up to the readers’ attention, which reveals its conventional character |
