The spirulina productivity, iron and chromium content in spirulina biomass cultivated in the presence of Fe(III) and Cr(III) coordinative compounds have been carried out. Bioaccumulation of iron and chromium depends on the nature of ligands and concentration of the compounds. The more favorable compounds for spirulina productivity and iron accumulation in the biomass are [Fe2ZnO(α-fur)6(THF)3] and [Fe2MnO(α-fur)6(THF)3] respectively. [Cr(HSSA)]2Cl•H2O had had the stimulative effect for spirulina productivity and chromium accumulation in the biomass. |
