Rezumat

Using the gamma ray mutagenesis on chickpea new mutants were obtained with morfo-physiological treats that have been related to an improved productivity or quality of beans. An RAPD analysis was performed with various primers on these mutants. Only by using some RAPD primers were obtained polymorphic amplifi cation fragments. More than 90% of the amplifi ed fragments were identical for all mutants and the initial genotype and only one difference (a new polymorphic fragment or the lack of a common fragment for all other genotypes) could be obtained for specifi c genotype by using a given primer. These results attest that changes induced by the gamma irradiation affect reduced DNA sequences and may lead for identifi cation of these mutations.
