Tourism is a growing field of the modern world economy, generating various international flows that cross national borders, involving mobility of people, capitals, goods, services, but also knowledge. în the following paper, we aimed to analyze the interaction between tourism and international relations, including through the assessments of some actors of the hospitality market to appreciate through their perceptions the impact of the tourism on the development of international relations. The methodology of the research was based on the approach of tourism activity through the qualitative sociological research, namely by semi-structured, formal and informal interviews. The study had a comparative look, with tourism stakeholders from five countries, being selected according to specific criteria. The finality of the research was found în confirming the hypothesis that the development of international relations influences the development of tourism and vice versa - tourism development positively influences the development of international relations.
