In the present article the author reveals the role of the book and typing machine in the informational society. The theory is allied with practical reflections dealing with the evolution of the pollygraphic and editorial system and with the book distribution in Republic of Moldova. The author focuses on the aspects, which came out in the editorial system while the transition period, putting forward definite solutions, which will expand the efficiency of the educative role of the book. There are emphasized new types of activities connected to the process of producing typed works and its promotion to the reader. The article is very useful for the students specialized in Editorial Activity as well as for all those who are interested in the problem of the book’s role in the contemporary media system. |
