Rezumat

The study of the chemical composition of the Nistru river waters is very important because the Dniester River is a main source of water surface, which ensures the local urban and rural needs, the agrarian and industrial sectors. Because the Ichel River is a right tributary of the Dniester River, it may or may not influence the chemical composition of the Dniester River. In order to appreciate the quality of the waters of the Ichel River and its influence on the chemical composition of the Dniester River waters, during the research period water samples were taken from three sections: the Dniester upstream Ichel, Ichel and the Dniester downstream Ichel. Establishing water quality involved the determination of different parameters by using physico-chemical methods of analysis.  The dynamics of pH, Eh, rH, total hardness, main ion content, oxygen regime with organic substances and biogenic substances. The results obtained from the monitoring indicate that the waters of the Ichel River were polluted with organically degradable substances and with biogenic substances (NO3-, PO43-) that influenced the chemical composition of Nistru waters.
