The nitrosation process of metformin hydrochloride according to pH was investigated, and it was found that the rate of the nitrosation reaction is dependent on he pH of the environment. Also, the influence of (+) Cathechin on the nitrosation process was studied and it was observed that with increasing antioxidant concentration, the concentration of nitrite ions in the system decreases. The antioxidant activity of (+) Cathechin was determined by DPPH. According to the DPPH method, the amount of (+) Cathechin needed to lower the initial DPPH* concentration by 50% was determined, equal to 0.016 M, calculated as PAR=62.5%. |
