The research of the topic was dictated by reestablishing the literary hierarchy of after-war literature from Basarabia This way, he research tries a multi-aspectual analysis of bessarabian poetry from diachronic view as well as from a synchronic one. In the present research the competitor attempts, for the first time in Moldova, a monographic approach of a very important writer who was somehow shaded. After a presentation of literary context the research is centered upon emphasizing the evolution of Liviu Damian poetry – from the traditionalist lyric of the ballad, characteristic for afterwar poetry form Basarabia, to a explicit modernist orientation and therefore illustrates great success in creative use of poetry modern formulas.
