In the present report the author discusses the increasesd interest of linguists to conceptual aspects of terminology, to necessity of in-depth study of ways of different concepts‟ expression in language, as well as trends of clarifying the term “concept” in the framework of cognitive linguistics and further deve-lopment of the bases of research theory and methodology. Due to category-zation of the term “concept” as mental, unobservable phenomenon a large are for its interpretation is given to researchers.

В данном сообщении речь идет о повышенном интересе лингвистов к концептуальным аспектам терминологии, необходимости углубленного изучения способов отражения различных концептов в языке, а также тенденциях к уточнению термина «концепт» в рамках когнитивной лингвистики и дальнейшей разработки основ теории и методики иссле-дования. Ввиду категоризации термина концепт как мыслительное, ненаблюдаемое явление, исследователям дается большой простор для его толкования.
