DDT and HCH are two organochlorinated pesticides widely used around the world to fight against different diseases. These pesticides were intense applied in Republic of Moldova fact
that contributed to the pollution of the agricultural soils. The highest concentrations were found in samples of soils collected near the storehouses. DDT and his metabolites were detected in 70-100% of analyzed samples, and HCH and his isomers in 70-90% of samples. The obtained results showed that polluted soils should be remediated in the sense of an ulterior use. An efficient and not expensive method, an easily to install design may be the “landfarming”. |
