Provided that the energy sector of the Republic of Moldova depends greatly on external energy resources, the reduction of this dependence is a key issue in ensuring energy security of the state and maintaining social stability. The article analyzes the strategic development objectives of the energy sector and the actions taken in this respect for establishing a framework of fully effective operation of the sector in terms of accessibility, reliability, competitiveness, transparency, in compliance with quality, safety and environment protection standards. |
