Metoclopramide –the gastroprokinetic and antiemetic drug, substrate and inhibitor of Cytochrome P450 2D6
Based on a study of selective sciens was characterized the farmacokinetics of metoclopramide monohydrochloride, the interaction between metoclopramide and Cytocrome P450, the ability of the substance to inhibit drug – metabolizing P450 CYP 2D6 and CYP 3A. There were made conclusions regarding the influence of isoform –specific inhibitors P450 drugs on the metabolism of metoclopramide and formation of monodeethylmetoclopramide, presumably causal factor of the toxic effects of this substances. These conclusions as a good basis for further research in vivo and for an effective pharmacotherapy to patients. |
